Hi Octane Petrol Price in Pakistan 2026 From Today 07 March is Rs. 321.17 per litre. The Government of Pakistan has announced a major increase in petrol and diesel prices due to rising global oil costs. According to officials, international petroleum prices have increased sharply because of growing tensions in the Middle East. As a result, the government has revised fuel prices across the country.

During a press conference in Islamabad, federal ministers confirmed that petrol and diesel prices have been increased by Rs. 55 per litre. With the new adjustment, petrol will now cost Rs. 321.17 per litre, while the price of diesel has increased from Rs. 275.70 to Rs. 335.86 per litre.

The government explained that the decision was taken after reviewing the recent changes in international oil markets.

Reason Behind the Petrol Price Increase

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar stated that global petroleum prices have risen significantly due to the widening conflict in the Middle East. According to him, the situation became more serious after an attack on Iran, which increased tensions in the region.

He explained that the conflict has expanded during the last two days, with countries such as Turkey and Azerbaijan also becoming involved. Because of these developments, global oil markets have reacted strongly, pushing petroleum prices higher worldwide.

Since Pakistan imports a large portion of its petroleum products, changes in international oil prices directly affect local fuel prices.

Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik also addressed the media and described the increase as a difficult but necessary decision. He said the government is trying to maintain energy supply and fuel availability during a challenging period.
