Fresh Currency Notes for Eid 2026 in Pakistan State Bank

Every year as Eid al-Fitr approaches in Pakistan, markets become crowded, homes are cleaned, and families prepare for the celebration. Among all the traditions of Eid, one small but meaningful custom brings special excitement to children: receiving Eidi.

For many Pakistani families, giving Eidi in fresh currency notes is part of the joy of Eid. Children eagerly wait for the moment after Eid prayers when elders hand them crisp new notes. The smell of fresh money, the bright colors of the notes, and the happiness on children’s faces make the moment unforgettable.

Eidi is usually money given by parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and older relatives to children after the Eid prayer. It is not just about money. It is a way to share love and happiness during the festival.

Many people remember their own childhood memories of collecting Eidi from different family members. Children often count their money again and again, proudly showing it to cousins and siblings. Later, they may spend it on sweets, toys, ice cream, or small gifts.

Because of this tradition, the demand for fresh currency notes increases every year before Eid.
